Folk arts and crafts are not static, but a living art form that changes with time, taste and needs.
In addition to the presentation of works by old masters, the permanent exhibition of the Folk Arts and Crafts Collection also includes the works of young, high-quality artists.
The exhibition presents the five main branches of folk arts and crafts in a dignified manner: carving, pottery, embroidery, weaving and folk crafts.
In addition to getting to know the material folk arts and crafts, the museum offers the opportunity to try out a variety of craft techniques. Teachers can choose from the museum’s pedagogical activities related to the exhibition for kindergarten and school groups.
