Creation of the Digital Aranyhomok Tourism Infocard and Website
The Aranyhomok Tourism Infocard is a unique marketing tool designed to fill a gap in promoting and boosting tourism in Kecskemét and the surrounding region. It was introduced in 2024 as a new service of Tourinform Kecskemét, with the aim of providing a tangible way to showcase the region’s tourism offerings and service providers.
The cards are available free of charge at 11 popular locations in Kecskemét and the surrounding area. The initial stock of cards ran out sooner than expected, making a reprint necessary. In addition, in response to the challenges and requirements of today’s digital environment, an online version is also needed to reach a wider audience and attract even more visitors to Kecskemét and the surrounding region.
The planned website will be connected to the existing Kecskemét and Region tourism mobile application and its database.
The developments entitled “Construction of Utility Infrastructure within the Site Boundaries of the Kecskemét SZC Kada Elek Technical School”, “Procurement of Exhibition Installations for the Regional Horticultural and Food Industry Exhibition”, and “Creation of the Digital Aranyhomok Tourism Infocard and Website” are being implemented with HUF 138,386,977 in funding provided by the Government of Hungary under the Competitive Districts Programme.
